Fiona has over 30 years’ experience within the UK Holiday Park industry and heads up the Holiday Park area within The Ruth Badger Consultancy. Her passion is in improving and growing owner led parks.

Fiona started out as a trainee sales advisor in a corporate group before working her way up to Board level in the largest group in Scotland. Incredibly experienced in creating growth, Fiona was accountable for driving revenues in excess of £15 million during her 7 years with the group.

Enjoying the balance between being hands on and operating at a senior level, Fiona thrives being amongst sales teams implementing sales strategies and increasing performance. An expert at sales process and compliance Fiona has trained many people over the years and enjoys the challenges that park management presents.

We call ourselves experts as over the last 15 years we have been increasing revenue, profitability and the value of owner and family–led parks. Holiday Parks are complex operations; they are multiple businesses running under one company. Most owners don’t acknowledge it but running fleet, in addition to sales, and often a food & beverage business, is not standard nor easy. Every consultant within RBC has a background and operational experience gained within parks. Within the last 15 years we have grown multiple owner led parks; one from £8m to £26m which sold within 2 years of our exit for £100m. Another who was delivering £15m for 5 years until we completed a project and took it to £34m. We have recently completed a project which has taken a smaller group from below £5m to set on achieving £10m in less than 3 years. We’ve built senior leadership teams, sales teams, reservations teams and food & beverage teams. We’ve re–modelled every possible revenue area within a park and trained and mentored entire departments!
