Holidaymaker integration with what3words

Holidaymaker App has adopted what3words location technology to allow clients to guide guests to the correct entrance.

It is providing clients with the ability to provide guests with a what3words address upon booking confirmation.

A recent study shows that over half of travellers (52%) spent more than an hour getting lost on their last trip.[1] Now, Holidaymaker App client guests will be able to find their locations faster, more easily and without getting lost – leaving them with more time to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable stay.

what3words is an easy way to identify precise locations. Every 3 metre square has been given a unique combination of three words: a what3words address. Now, people can find the front entrance to any location using just three words. For example, ///qualified.burglars.digitally is the what3words address of the exact entrance to Holidaymaker App HQ.

what3words addresses are more precise than street addresses. A what3words address will guide you to a particular entrance or car park, which is more useful than a pin in the centre of the building. This is a more reliable way of navigating and makes travelling in unfamiliar places easier and safer.

There is nothing more frustrating than your sat nav claiming that you have arrived at your destination, only to realise you haven’t. Holidaymaker App clients can now include what3words addresses on their booking confirmations, meaning just three words will direct guests to exactly where they need to be. We are excited to be embracing new technology to better our customer experience.
