David Lakins

Co-founder & MD of Product and Operations

Brings Key Digital Agency’s foundation and extensive holiday park experience to Holidaymaker, and is passionate about improving guest experiences.

Dave McRobbie

Co-founder & MD of Growth and Strategy

A digital strategist with a focus on ethics, with client and agency experience from business analyst to strategic director. Specialises in behavioural science and customer experience.

Jamie McDonald

Head of Development

There from the start. Jamie built the first version of the Holidaymaker app in 2020, then the platform and the community, and is already working on what comes next. We keep development in house and under our control.

Lana Tigwell

Head of Marketing, PR and Comms

Leads marketing and the XP community. A Chartered Marketer with over 14 years of experience, she spends her days in tech, ethics, human behaviour and community, and her heart is usually somewhere wilder and more natural.

iOS Developer

A decade as an iOS developer and four to five years as an Android developer, working in Swift, Kotlin, Java and PHP. He started out managing mobile apps in the cinema industry. He designed our updated app and its cleaner UI and UX, and is integral to updates and improvements to Holidaymaker.

Debbie Young

Implementation Manager

A history of success creating and maintaining training and onboarding processes. Debbie understands what customers need, is passionate about building a collaborative community, and is crucial to how we onboard every new client.

Steve Tiley

Chairman

An experienced Chair, non-exec and CEO with successful exits of early stage companies in IT and hospitality tech, including five years as IT director at McDonald’s UK. A Climate Leader with Climate Reality, the charity founded by Al Gore.

Holidaymaker was founded in 2020 by David Lakins and Dave McRobbie. Our developers, marketers and implementation team work from Dorset, and Steve Tiley is our Chairman. You can read more in our story.
